In line with our successful growth history, we are seeking to add Account Executives that will help maintain and expand our position in the Chicago, and surrounding markets.


GTS approaches every new hire in a highly methodical fashion, making certain that the goals of the individual are closely aligned with the strategy of the business; especially when hiring sales and recruiting personnel. We realize that internal GTS roles (sales and recruiting) are public-facing positions that require a great level of skill to deliver the GTS message and compelling value propositions with precision to various candidate and Client markets. The keys to success as a GTS Account Executive are: developing direct, long-term IT consulting and staffing Client relationships, successfully open new accounts, grow relationships with existing accounts, and a belief that the primary driver for long-term IT Staffing company and sales success is developing strong, professional, trusting and proven relationships on a direct basis with IT executives and hiring managers. Ideally, we are interested in individuals with previous experience in selling staffing and solutions, but will also consider successful IT recruiters looking to progress thier career into a sales role.


Responsibilities of an Account Executive

  • Execute the full life cycle of IT staffing sales and account management, including but not limited to identifying and qualifying target prospects, developing account-specific sales plans, building direct relationships with IT hiring managers, opening new accounts and growing long-term account relationships.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales quota expectations, along with being held accountable for and documenting the tactical sales activity that drives attainment of sales quotas.
  • Analyze, consume and accurately convey with confidence the GTS message, service offerings and value propositions to our target audiences.
  • Initiate first contacts/meetings with IT executives and hiring managers at assigned new target prospects.
  • Consistently build and evaluate target account prospects for viability, opportunity size and GTS relationship value.
  • Participate in the design and development of recruiting strategies, sales and business development strategies and new product/service offerings as appropriate.
  • Effectively interface and work in collaboration with GTS Senior Management and other Account Executives during the development of sales strategies and tactics to win new business and expand existing business within current Clients.
  • Learn our CRM/ATS, fully utilize and document all sales activity in Bullhorn.


  • 4 year college degree with 2+ years of related work experience in IT Staffing sales, IT Professional Service sales, or Technical Recruiting.
  • Established network among IT executives and IT hiring managers within the Chicago market.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional cold-calling and prospecting skills with the ability to consistently open new account relationships.
  • Proven track record for meeting sales quotas, opening new accounts and realizing the financial benefits of being a successful professional in the IT Staffing industry.
  • Proficient with MS Office and one or more sales CRMs and Application Tracking Systems.
  • A team player that understands the value of working collaboratively with other members of the GTS Team.
